A PRESIDENTIAL
MESSAGE
FROM
JIM
|
Dear Parents, Coaches and Players:
Thank you for making the first half of our season a great success. Our goal of promoting good citizenship and good character through the medium of baseball is working. It is through our mutual effort and dedication to this goal that CJBL continues to be a leader and a shining example for youth baseball.
Thank you for participating in our fund raising events. The baskets for bowling night were spectacular and the whole night was a lot of fun. As we continue to face these tough economic times I appreciate the effort many of you made to sell raffle tickets. As you know CJBL is a non profit organization run by volunteers and all money is put right back into the program so our kids can continue to play baseball. I know many of you are looking forward to Poker Night and we will be holding that event on June 5, 2010. Check the website for details.
The "Home plate" aka the snack bar continues to provide great service and good food. Thanks to Lisa and Julie and their crew for keeping the lines short and the food delicious.
Let's keep up the good work and have a great second half.
See you at the ballpark!
Jim Sandberg, President
